About David Appleton

Originally from Manchester, England, David has lived throughout the U.S. for over 25 years and has trained  with the most respected leaders in Chinese Medicine.

He obtained his B.A. from the University of Connecticut where he majored in Philosophy.  David then proceeded to dedicate himself to the study of Chinese Medicine, obtaining his Masters in Science in Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California - a leading U.S. institution known for its strength in training highly-skilled Acupuncturists and Chinese Herbalists.

David is fully licensed by the Massachusetts Registration Board of Medicine.  He is also nationally certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine).

He has been in clinical practice for  nearly a decade, yet he continues to have an unrelenting thirst for ongoing study in Classical Chinese Medicine, and has been an avid student of Master Practitioner Jeffrey Yuen.

When not occupied with work or study, David enjoys  reading, cooking, playing his guitar,  photography and travel.
